Mazda 3 charming style, a lot of specifications but today I will share the perspective from the user. Why is this car beautiful, why is this car worth a price that can be called expensive. The first point is the front part that I really like here is the overall look of this car.

With Mazda's previous design languages, we have a relatively gentle, friendly face and avoid the market. Now we have a new Mazda 3 Codo language that the company uses the word "maturity" more mature, more modern and exudes confidence from the lights, it's like the eyes when we frown, our mouths the car is a confident and gentle smile.

This is a pretty good point. If we take a close look here, a logo doesn't look too good, but here, the Mazda logo is a black plastic part, like a 3d model. This is a special design of the luxury car company, but this is not a design just to be beautiful because hidden deep in this logo we have many sensors to serve the cruise system.

This is almost the only car in the segment with a cruise control system that can follow the car in front. For example, when there is cruise control, if the car in front suddenly brakes, our car can also brake by itself.

If cruise control does not have the ability to adapt, if we have relied on the cruise control system, neglecting the accelerator and brake pedals, we will not be able to brake by ourselves, but this Mazda, almost exclusively The best in the segment has the ability to automatically brake when setting cruise control. This is a huge plus for the car.

 As for the body, looking through the mirror is nothing too special, but this is a flatter and more aerodynamic mirror design compared to the previous Mazda 3. And here is a detail I really like, this gap is almost unnoticed when we evaluate a car, but this is an extremely subtle distance that many European car manufacturers have gradually widened. This is typical of rear-wheel drive cars and here Mazda 3 is a front-wheel drive car but has a very long distance from the wheelbase to the steering wheel.

This is a very good design that creates the shape of the car pulling back, creating luxury and sport for the car. With front-wheel drive cars, the earpiece is very thin, but the Mazda 3 applies a rear-wheel drive design to give it a sporty appearance.

The design carries the soul of Europe and has the identity of Japan, harmonizing the greatest advantages of the two design schools of Europe and Asia. The missing hook here reminds me of a car that is in the high segment and is considered by Vietnamese people as a luxury car company.

Open the door, you will find it very smooth and medium. This is typical of luxury cars, there is no redundant design, even the door handles are very smooth and expressive. The sound of the door closing is also very quiet, very different from the previous generation Mazda 3.

At the rear of the car, it is still the design language with the highlight of these led circles, the taillights are completely led. But the sophistication of Mazda is also shown here, the opening and closing of the trunk is very gentle and easy without any buttons, this is a luxurious experience for Mazda cars. We have a relatively basic tail pattern, but if you just need to spend a little money, you will have a rear spoiler with European design, the rear of the car will be more perfect with beautiful chrome lippos.

Regarding the exterior of the car, it can be concluded that the Mazda 3 is almost determined that they do not play with traditional car manufacturers in their segment now. They want to move up to a higher segment. Mazda has had early successes, having pursued a more upscale, premium design philosophy that is true to its name. 

Let's go to the interior of the car. The leather-wrapped steering wheel, feels like a European steering wheel, the buttons here are not very good, but this is a car with a price tag of less than 1 billion, so details like this are acceptable, important. There are enough cruise control features, enough glass hacks, blind spot sensors, a lot of features that almost only appear on high-end cars.

The knob is also a bit European, if you are familiar with German cars, you will understand this is the detail of what car it has, the clicks are very good and clear. Another special thing is that the response of the knob of the air conditioning system and the response of the infotainment knob are all the same, balancing and synchronizing the button experience on the car like that. This is the point that proves the luxury, not many popular car companies pay attention to details like this.

The way to adjust on the screen is very smooth, the infotainment system is very good, the brightness and contrast, this can be confirmed as a screen of a luxury car. The only point that is not here is that we have to add money to buy an SD card to use the navigation system here. Basically, creating a luxury car feeling is so difficult that the Japanese car company has created sub-brands with a luxury car sound but has not been able to do it like Mazda here.

Everything we feel, see, touch, and interact with brings luxury. from the armrest leather to the dashboard skin, the screen to the bezel-less mirrors, the reading lights, the steering wheel, the rear clock. Everything exudes synchronization and is not a temporary fix to have.

Mazda is really different over the years, they have changed the design philosophy, changed the approach of the car and now we have a completely different product compared to two or three years ago.

Perhaps when we directly drive this car on the road and will test drive it on our favorite road to find out if in addition to these small details, it has reached the level of a luxury car, the soundproofing, other experiences. When driving the car out on the street, is it a luxury car, let's try it. I'm on the first test and with low speed, the maximum speed is about 40hm/k. Because this is a street experience, it is not possible to run fast.

First I tried running the zigzag part at a low speed, only 10k / h because this is a simulation test to see when looking for a parking lot, for example. When traveling at this low speed and surrounded by a lot of carsThe first thing we care about is the visibility of this car, according to my experience here at low speed, the visibility is very good because the dashboard has been designed to simplify the details. Redundancy provides less distracting vision.

Feeling the steering wheel at low speed like this also brings enjoyment when driving. It's really difficult to call a so-called cheap car compared to luxury cars, cars in the segment that are under 1 billion, It is very difficult for a car like this to be very smooth when stepping on the gas pedal and also very smooth when decelerating. The car feels pretty cool and now it's 30km/h when cornering, which is really different from the previous model. 

Next, I feel the passenger seat and the first thing I observe in this position is the A column, which is thinner than the previous life. In terms of my subjective comparison, it is at least a 20-30% thinner. This both provides a more open space for the occupants and if in the driving position we can have a better view.

The air conditioning system is also quite good, they push everything that distracts the driver down the horizontal to the abdomen, the driver's vision will not be obstructed by anything. This is a very good design. Try cornering at high speed to see how it swings, with a slight tilt of course but without compromising passenger comfort as it's slow, directional, the car is bouncing. . People sitting next to them feel more comfortable.

Next is the actual experience on the road. The first advantage that I noticed when running on the road was the fact that it was soundproof.

If you are interested in learning about cars, you already know that previous Mazdas have the biggest weakness in the ability to soundproof the chassis, tires, not like the competition, but now it has been improved quite a lot, really. is superior because this is obviously the biggest weakness of the previous 3 mazdas, but now it has changed and become a strong point, the soundproofing makes me feel very satisfied with this car. Honestly, the acceleration is still enough.

In terms of driving feel, the steering wheel feels smoother and more compact. In terms of feeling at low speed in the picture and at speed when traveling on the highway, it is also very good. The accelerator and brake pedal are very sensitive, very easy to judge. Visibility is still maintained as low speed, rear view, rearview mirror are very clear.
