Why is the Hyundai Accent 2021 'MANY UPGRADE' but the price remains the same?
The B-segment urban car segment has never been so hot as the mid-life upgraded Hyundai Accent 2021 has officially arrived at dealers to prepare for the launch event next month.
This is considered a shot showing that Hyundai is determined to win the throne from rival Toyota Vios, which has dominated the small B-segment urban car segment in Vietnam for many years. With cumulative sales in the first 9 months of 2020 of this model is 12.778 units while rival Vios is 19120.
Obviously, Hyundai Accent has a much lower sales than its competitors, so this Korean model is forced to change products to close the gap and create a new game for new products. It infers that the Hyundai Accent 2021 was brought to Vietnam the fastest and in 2020 we have this model in the Vietnamese market, partly helping Hyundai to increase its market share in the segment as well as bring customers to Vietnam. Customers who get a new car model in 2020 will enjoy 50% of the registration fee when registering the car.

Right at the front of the car has a very modern and youthful design style. We will have the steering wheel surface with the textures on the inside that have changed a lot instead of the parallel chrome horizontal bars that now have a diamond pattern. Meanwhile, the lower part has 2 fake air intakes on both sides designed in a triangular style, the lower bumper is chrome plated in the same color as the steering wheel, creating a youthful angle.
The lighting cluster is also newly designed with a LED strip that has been shaped like a hook, but this light only uses a projector, not an led form. The rear light cluster is designed with an extended LED strip, not divided into compartments like the old version. The lower bumper has a larger air intake detail for a sportier style combined with chrome rims at the rear. Overall, the rear end of the car is aimed at young customers. The lazang part is a bit inconsistent with the youthful design of the car.
The first outstanding detail in the interior is the digital dashboard instrument cluster instead of the analog form like the previous version. With this instrument cluster giving us a sports car atmosphere, the finish of the watch is really sharp and responsive.
The entertainment center screen has been upgraded to 8 inches, still the Vietnamese interface and combined with AVN satellite map, very effective features when moving in the city. The rest, on the Accent 2021, still have the functions inherited from the old version such as cruise control, sunroof, air-conditioning vents in the second row.

Although this mid-life upgrade version still owns a 1.4-liter MPI engine block that produces about 100 horsepower combined with a 6-speed gearbox, it is acceptable.
With such upgrades, perhaps this model will satisfy many people who want to buy cars in the B-segment.
