Ford Ranger 2021 cuts options, increases selling prices?
In recent times, the Ford Ranger 2021 has caused a stir in the online community with information that the new version has increased the price from 918 to 925 million. However, the equipment, features, and utility technology have not been thoroughly upgraded while being cut down a lot.
This version is Limited, not the 2021 Ford Ranger version, so there will be some information online that will confuse you. However, this Limited car has an appearance similar to the 2021 version coming to Vietnam in the first and second quarters.

We will have a few changes. First, in terms of the steering wheel, instead of 2 parallel horizontal bars placed in the center position, it has now changed to a honeycomb mesh pattern on the inside, the car also has small air intakes painted with colored borders. The orange looks very striking. The teeth of the Ford Ranger have been painted black, but the size as well as specifications to the way of shaping are still the same as the old version. The rear sports brake is painted with orange paint to look more prominent, but this is just a point for us to easily distinguish the old and new version. In addition to the exterior changes, the Ford Ranger Limited has some details cut on the exterior of the car. The vehicle does not support active parking technology. This version in Thailand is equipped with a back cover, but this detail has been removed in Vietnam. However, the car still has a full LED lighting cluster capable of integrating the technology to automatically turn on and off the smart headlights.
All the body parts, the rear of the car are still the same. Above all, this car retains the overall dimensions in terms of length, width, height and wheelbase. 2.0L engine block, twin turbocharger, producing about 210 horsepower combined with 10-speed gearbox cluster like the old version.

In terms of the overall interior design of this car, there are not too prominent changes apart from the orange border on the seat surface. The car is still equipped with an 8-inch screen integrated with SYNC 3.4 technology capable of connecting Apple Carplay and Android Auto, voice control. The car has reduced functions such as: adaptive cruise control lane-keeping support, active noise cancellation. Those are the functions that rival Toyota Hilux 2021 has been equipped with in the Toyota Safety Sense safety package.
Perhaps because sales are always at the top 1 in the pickup segment in the Vietnamese market, the 2021 version should not cut out options such as reversing. However, this is only the Limited version, not the mid-life upgraded version of the 2021 Ford Ranger. If the 2021 version of Vietnam really cuts all options and still has a relatively high price, then the Ford Ranger will be one of the models that is difficult to compete with rivals in the special segment we have to buy. To mention the name of current models such as Toyota Hilux or Mitsubishi Triton have improved both in appearance to safety technology features and a quite competitive price.
