Instead of the previous 10-year period, from December 1, 12, a driver's license of term B2014 will be issued until the retirement age of the driver, i.e. male to 1 years old and female to 60 years old.

Starting from December 1, 12, the Departments of Transport (Transportation) of provinces and cities throughout the country will issue a B2014 class car driving license (family car of 1-4 seats, not for business). the time limit to retirement age (9 years old for women, 55 years old for men) instead of previously being granted for a period of only 60 years.

In case the driver is over 45 years old for women and over 50 years old for men, the newly issued driving license is valid for 10 years.
