Try the Honda Sensing feature under the storm to see if it's safe

Hello friends, today we will test a safety feature that is automatic braking. Today, the conditions were excellent, firstly it was dark and secondly it was stormy, raining and windy, cloudy to show you how sensitive and safe the car is.

You can see on this steering wheel there are buttons such as: Adaptive cruise control, distance adjustment button, lane keeping. First this is a straight line, we will try adaptive cruise control.

Now that this feature is activated, I will follow the car ahead. When you take off the accelerator, your car will automatically keep a safe distance from the car in front. This feature is already very familiar, but today we go in stormy, dark, wet, cloudy weather.

This feature on Honda cars, I think it uses the same as devices on other cars that use the radar placed on the three front shocks and with the camera above to calculate the distance as well as analyze the proximity. or far to make a decision to throttle more or less and how to brake to keep the distance we require.

This road is curved, the car will keep the lane, you will see it self-driving without touching the accelerator pedal. You must not let go of your hands because if you are sleepy, you will lose control, so your right hand is always resting on the steering wheel. If you deviate from the lane, it will understand that you are driving poorly or distracted, for example, the car will vibrate slightly and it will steer back to the lane, very simple.

This is a feature that I really like, but in Vietnam it is a bit sad that it is not available on most cars, even expensive cars like Mercedes, Benz do not have. Why is it like that?

According to the explanations of those companies, the frequency of the radar placed on the vehicle coincides with the frequency of the Ministry of Defense, so it is not possible, it may be reasonable. But there are still some car manufacturers that have this feature this.

When we change lanes, the car will let you change because you take the initiative. When the car in front stops, your car will also automatically slow down and stop.

Honda Sensing is really great, hopefully in the near future, at the earliest, Honda Vietnam will bring this technology on Adcord, CRV and even on Civic so that Vietnamese people can have convenience and safety technology.
