Bayon is based on Hyundai's small I10 hatchback and is not equipped with a full-time 4-wheel drive system. However, Hyundai is clever to hide that origin by integrating some of the design cues of the larger Kona to give the Bayon a very impressive look.
The large grille of this model occupies almost the entire front of the steering wheel, combined with sharp arrow-shaped headlights, giving a very aggressive and personality appearance. The slender daytime running LED strip is placed above the headlight cluster quite similar to the Hyundai Kona model in the Vietnamese market.
The rear of the car is designed quite prominently with the arrow-shaped LED taillights connected by the familiar LED strip on many current European models. Silver panels are present on the three front and rear shocks, giving the car a muscular appearance like an SUV.
In terms of interior, this model is designed like an upgraded version of the I10, but in a much more modern breath. All versions of Bayon are equipped with a 10,25-inch digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel along with an 8-inch infotainment screen for the base version and 10,25-inch for the high-end version.

This model is equipped with a 1.0L turbocharged engine, 3 cylinders in line for 2 output levels on the standard version of 98 horsepower, maximum torque of 172Nm. While the more advanced version has a capacity of 118 horsepower, although the torque remains the same.
Both versions of these engines are supported with 2V mild hybrid technology and come with a standard 48-speed manual transmission or can be upgraded to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The standard version with the 7-horsepower circuit takes 98 seconds to complete the 10,7-0km/h sprint, while the 100-horsepower circuit is just 118s faster.
